The Beginning of a New Standard

ALTEON did not begin with a single defining moment. It emerged from years of experience, observation, and a growing conviction that the spaces surrounding modern life could be designed to serve the human body far better.

One founder came from insurance, banking, and strategy consulting, with a close view of how prevention and longevity were often treated as secondary considerations. The other had built and sold a wellness brand into the mainstream, experiencing first-hand how an industry could place greater emphasis on presentation than measurable outcomes.

Though their paths were different, they arrived at the same conclusion. The environments we live in were designed primarily around efficiency, aesthetics, technology, and convenience. Human biology was rarely given the same level of consideration.

ALTEON was conceived to challenge that standard. The ambition was never to choose between clinical credibility and exceptional design. It was to bring the two together with precision, creating wellness environments where advanced technology, human biology, and architectural refinement exist as one. That conviction became the foundation of ALTEON.

A Vision Beyond the Instrument

From the beginning, ALTEON was conceived as something more expansive than a technology company or a design studio. It was envisioned as an integrated wellness and longevity house, capable of moving seamlessly between private residences, luxury hospitality, medical longevity clinics, elite performance environments, and corporate wellness spaces.

The philosophy was that exceptional wellness should never be defined by where it is experienced. The science remains constant. What changes is the environment, the level of personalisation, and the standard of execution.

That philosophy shaped the ALTEON collection. From body-focused instruments such as the EMS Suit and DEPS Sculpt to advanced recovery and thermal systems including CryoSphere Q and HEALRAY, each addition was developed with the same pursuit of performance, precision, and refinement.

Today, ALTEON operates across Mumbai, Albany in the United States, and Dubai, working with a select portfolio of corporate partners, luxury hospitality groups, medical longevity clinics, elite performance centres, and private clients.

Its technologies and design practices are equally at home within private residences and five-star environments, reflecting a belief that has remained central since the beginning.

Wellness should never be confined to the clinic or separated from the sanctuary. At its highest expression, it belongs in both.

Co-Founder

Akshay brings more than fifteen years of experience across insurance, banking, strategy consulting, wellness, and consumer businesses to ALTEON. His career has consistently moved between analytical rigour and human outcomes, giving him a distinctive perspective on how health, prevention, technology, and business can come together at scale.

Long before ALTEON, Akshay was involved in building some of India’s leading wellness and longevity technology ventures, developing a deep understanding of an industry that is now entering a defining new era. An MBA from NYU Stern further strengthened his foundation in strategy and business, while his personal interest in health, performance, and preventive wellbeing gave that experience a deeper sense of purpose.

For Akshay, ALTEON represents more than a business venture. It is a long-term vision to create the infrastructure, technologies, and environments that a new generation of health-conscious individuals and institutions increasingly expect.

Avnish is an entrepreneur and brand builder with a rare instinct for understanding how emerging wellness ideas evolve into enduring consumer movements. Across multiple ventures, he has combined commercial ambition with a close understanding of what people genuinely seek from the brands and experiences they choose to bring into their lives.

Before ALTEON, he built Wellbeing Nutrition into one of India’s most recognised wellness brands and led its growth to a majority stake sale to USV Pharma in a transaction valued at more than two hundred million dollars. The achievement reflected not only commercial scale, but a deeper ability to build relevance and trust in a rapidly evolving category.

Educated at the University of Nottingham, Avnish brings to ALTEON a clear ambition to create wellness solutions that can move beyond early adoption and become part of how individuals, businesses, and entire markets approach healthier and longer lives.

At ALTEON, his focus is on building brands, technologies, and experiences with the ability to shape the category for the long term.

Principal, Health by Design

With three decades of entrepreneurial and design experience, Zameer brings a multidisciplinary perspective to Health by Design, ALTEON’s architecture led wellness practice. His work has consistently moved across the boundaries of art, design, branding, hospitality, and sustainable materials, creating a body of experience shaped by curiosity rather than convention.

In 2005, Zameer founded ZSP Design Studio, a boutique practice known for collaborating with national and international architectural and design firms. Over the years, the studio has delivered work across residential, hospitality, healthcare, retail, and commercial environments, guided by a sensitivity to context, materiality, function, and human experience.

At Health by Design, Zameer extends this philosophy into the emerging relationship between architecture and wellbeing. Environmental science, human behaviour, spatial flow, material selection, air quality, and circadian lighting are considered not as separate additions, but as part of a more intelligent approach to how spaces are conceived.

His philosophy is rooted in a simple belief. The most exceptional environments do more than look beautiful. They shape how people feel, move, recover, and live within them.
